Life's Serenade
Counting down to ord is probably like, the most woeful thing that can happen because time will seem to pass by so slowly as you are nearer to the date. But when the day finally arrived, its actually like... hmm, yay. Nothing really special about it. Maybe its also because I've started to settle down during the leave period, but oh well, indeed walking out of the place which you have been "confined" for so long, and thinking that you never have to go back again, is quite, wonderful and emotional.
Met an old BMT mate yesterday while on auto-roam mode. Suddenly everything just came back to us in an instant from 2 years back. Eat, shit, sleep, bleed and counting down to pop together. The very same fellow who asked me have I seen his "lost helmet" around during field camp when he was actually wearing it on his head. Talked about girls and our crushes till late night since we can't seem to sleep, and now he's finally settled down nicely with his partner, talk about old times, heh. Was planning to meet up with the rest of the guys "someday", though i seriously doubt the day will come, but nevertheless, it was still nice talking about it, lol.
So what have I in this "wasteful" 2yrs in the army? I sort of have successfully dissolved any passion I have towards games & design. I got slimmer, and I am more confident and outspoken. I know a thing or 2 about networking and I am invovled in NDP, ha. So i guess i can't really say I've dreadfully wasted this 2 yrs, maybe in terms of career choice. A final note, its really about how you really manage and plan your time inside, because it can actually turn out to be very fruitful.
Working at SingTel now as a CSO, hope I'll slowly settle down and enjoy my job. Preparing for enrolment in SIM too, in september, hope it all goes well. What I want to be after I graduate? I really don't know, maybe I'll soon have the answer, but I do know I have laid out a path before me, and right now, I'm just gonna navigate and find the destination.

Forza Azzura

Alas, the world cup has finally come to an end, and nothing beats the feeling of seeing your favorite team dismissed as "wannabes". Against all odds, they fought their way to the finals and finally prove doubters wrong by standing on top of the world. So let us savour this moment and coupled with a few pizzas, we celebrate!
(Its heart-wrenching to see zz end his career in such a dramatic way, nevertheless, we thanked him for all the wonderful moments he provide us in his illustrious career, the greatest player of his generation.)

Stick with You
For my darling and all those who thot I was gone fer good eh?
Basking in the moonlight as night sky glittered brillantly.
A late night Jaz coupled with a glass of wine.
A remedy for a needy heart? As I think to myself,
Taking a small sip, it sensually licked my lips.
I gaze upon my reflection as it glanced back poker-faced,
Yearning for an affectionate tune from a piece of the melody.
It takes time I guess, like the course of good wine.
I laid back slowly and wished the music will never end.

(And so, the world cup have commenced to the last 16s, and I believe italy is a strong contender for the semis, and from then onwards, its all up to themselves.)
