It is a Dark & Stormy Night II

Even someone who have never read the papers or bother to keep in touch with the news, would have even catch the headlines all over the island regarding the NKF & Mr. T_Tx Durai's bonuses which had been buzzing around recently. But to me, the only thing that has been buzzing around is people roaming around with coinboxes asking for, probably a fraction of the sum of today's lunch. Ever since the news of the NKF business has been uncovered, what had sparked me into thinking about these chartiy organizations; or in some cases, so-called, is their way of working.

Simply by roaming around the streets in urban areas, different people working for different fund-raising organizations are almost everywhere, hoping that we would show contribute a token of love to the unfortunate community. Not that I don't have that much love to offer, but probably a little too much of them makes you wonder the background of these organizations and their way of working. After the NKF's exposure, it somehow occured to me that, "charity" has taken its form to be another form of profitable business. Which probably explains more and more different and unknown organizations start to appear.

I'm the sort who believe in the "real-world" concept, and that the people, behind these committees, are not as angelic as they seem to be; then again not all of them are that way, to be fair. Business, demands profit, and that people might actually abuse the charity factor, to gain more of them, and conveniently tainted the reputation of other organizations which are true to their work. Now that it had come across to me, I'm more cautious about who, to part my cents with. Not that I'm not thinking about the unfortunate that needed them, but just that probably a little too many coin tins would eventually drain you alive of even a copy newpaper. So for the sake of the people that needed them, donate wisely, so that the people would actually get what they need.

(Tryin my luck on a little article, though I've no idea wad im sayin, thus weird sentences and grammar are advised to be ignored. =] )

Tanning in your Sunray

I noticed that my routine of blogging is once per week, hence I will not try to break the cycle, though I have no idea what exactly to pen down. Anyway, went to IKEA today to check out my furnitures; being an extreme fussy person, I can't seem to find anything I like... again, after visiting so many shops. Damn, I'm in danger of not having any furniture during moving house, noo.

Sigh, after that, head down to bugis to get new phone XD, only to know that the K750i I'm getting is out of stock, for the black casing ones, doh. Pretty fruitless day, and post too, sigh. But hey! i typed all of this in proper english, kool huh.
